James’ California Handmade Rolls: Fresh, Fun & Flavorful

Watch as he shares one of his favorite healthy recipes, California Handmade Rolls! Inspired by his healthy lifestyle journey, James walks us through how to create these easy, customizable hand rolls that are perfect for summer meal, family gatherings, or a light snack at home.

Ingredients:

– Medium Grain Sushi rice

– Rice Vinegar

– Seaweed Wraps (Nori)

– Imitation Crab Meat or Fresh Crab Meat

– Mayonnaise

– Soy Sauce

– Cucumber (Optional)

– Avocado (Optional)

– Fish Flakes or Furikake (Rice Seasoning)

Instructions:

1. Cook medium grain sushi rice using about 1โ€“1ยฝ cups of water until fluffy.

2. Mix 2โ€“3 teaspoons of rice vinegar into the cooked rice.

3. Pull apart the crab meat and mix with mayonnaise until well combined.

4. Cut seaweed wraps in half and fold into a cone shape.

5. Use a small amount of rice to help seal the cone.

6. Add rice, crab mixture, cucumber, and any additional toppings of your choice.

7. Sprinkle fish flakes or seasoning on top.

8. Finish with avocado slices and enjoy!
