Aromatic & Delicious: Ravi’s Homemade Chicken Curry Recipe

Packed with traditional Indian spices that are not only delicious but also great for digestion, this dish is the kind of home-style meal that brings people together. With tender chicken, a rich onion-based gravy, and a beautifully balanced spice blend, this curry is perfect for a warm dinner at home and even better shared with others!


Ingredients:
– 1 whole chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
– Vegetable or avocado oil
– 1 large onion, finely diced
– Cayenne powder (to taste)
– Turmeric powder
– Garam masala
– Cardamom powder
– 3 whole cloves per pound of chicken
– A pinch of cinnamon
– Fresh cilantro, torn

*Spice measurements can be adjusted based on your preferred level of flavor and heat!

Instructions:
1. Finely dice your onion

2. Warm your oil in a pan over medium heat.

3. To build your base, add your onions and sauté until they’re soft and lightly golden.

4. Toss in your chicken pieces and give everything a good stir.

5. Start with cayenne for that beautiful red color, then add turmeric, cardamom, garam masala, cinnamon, and cloves. Mix well so every piece of chicken is coated.

6. Let it simmer, cover and cook for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

7. Fresh finish: Tear fresh cilantro over the top, let it sit for two minutes, then stir it in.

8. Serve & enjoy: Pair with rice, warm naan, or your favorite veggies!
