Baby’s Crowd Favorite Lumpia Recipe

Ingredients:
– Red Onion
– Minced Garlic
– Ground Pork
– Carrots
– Potatoes
– Salt
– Black Pepper
– Lumpia Wrappers
– 1 Egg
– Cooking Oil
– Green Onions
– Sweet Chili Sauce or Your Favorite Dipping Sauce

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Filling:
Finely chop or grate the onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes. Place them in a clean mixing bowl.

2. Mix the Ingredients:
Add the ground pork to the bowl along with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined.

3. Assemble the Lumpia:
Lay a lumpia wrapper flat. Place a small portion of the filling near one edge of the wrapper.
Fold in the sides, then roll tightly. Brush a little beaten egg along the edges to seal.

4. Heat the Oil:
Heat enough oil in a pan for deep frying over medium heat.

5. Fry the Lumpia:
Carefully place the lumpia into the hot oil. Fry, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy and the filling is fully cooked.

6. Drain and Garnish:
Remove the lumpia from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove the excess oil. Garnish with sliced green onions.

7. Serve:
Serve hot with sweet chili sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
